Beckett and Lester aren't much better...our best pitcher so far is a 43 year old who will probably retire at the end of the season. The starters HAVE to start pitching like they're in in the AL East. Wake has been great, and, for once, when he gives up a bomb or two, the Sox have given him some runs. I'm worried about Dice-K and although Penny's been okay (extra credit for pitching while barfing between innings) it makes sense for the Sox to trade him so that Buch can get into the rotation. You're right, the Sox starters have to right their ship, or the Yanks (hated Hughes' great start the other day) are going to wind up in first and I don't think I could bear that.
